<p>Relationships have an ebb and flow to them just as the Seasons of nature do. A rhythm all their own. A process of planting, nurturing, growing, maturing, and sustaining.</p>
<p>People flow through your life, both good and bad. We naturally gather the good to us, and avoid the bad. But in gathering the good to us, are we maintaining these relationships? Are we planting deep roots that will survive, mature, and continue to grow and bloom, or are we planting shallow roots? Roots that are capable of creating a relationship, but many times are based on shallow selfish motives, and will not survive past a short time?</p>
<p>These are the questions you need to ask yourself, when creating new relationships, in the day-to-day world, as well as in the Online world. Are you creating relationships simply to say, Hey world, Look how many friends I have. Or are you creating relationships with depth and meaning behind them. Genuine interest. Genuine caring.</p>
<p>Friendships and relationships that are based on genuine interest, trust and caring, be they business relationships, family or friends, will all have their individual seasons, just as the seasons of nature do.</p>
<p>Some of these relationships will be Annuals. We plant the seeds, the relationship grows, and blooms, but then fades away for a while. The seeds are still there though, so the relationship re-grows after a while and continues in a sort of hi&#8217;s and lo&#8217;s cycle of life. Distance, Time, and Life are the big factors in this cycle. So we enjoy the blooms while they are there, and look forward to the next time that the blooms grace our eyes.</p>
<p>Other relationships will be Perennials. Once planted, nurtured and grown, these relationships continue to grow, and bloom on a regular basis, year after year. The blooms may fade from time to time, but they come back quickly. The relationship itself is always there and visible, continuing to grow, and creating beauty in our lives many times throughout the year.</p>
<p>And then we will have the relationships that are the Live Oaks in our lives. These are the relationships that we grow, that form a canopy of comfort, love and familiarity over our lives on a daily basis. We can count on these relationships to always be there, to always lend us a shelter beneath their bows. We may have started with these relationships already there at birth, or we may have planted them when we were young, and grown along side them, gaining strength from them, and knowing that we can always rest easy in their shade.</p>
<p>The important thing to remember is that ALL relationships are important. Whether they are occasional, regular, or constant. They each need tending in their own way, to maintain their vitality, strength and growth.</p>
<p>How is Your garden growing? Are there relationships in your life that need some attention? Go and tend your garden. Watch the blooms of life grow.</p>

<p>Up front the answer would be No One actually sets out to learn How to fail, but ultimately they either begin using ineffective tactics, or they simply lose heart and hope, and give up. 97% of Network Marketers Fail. <p>I flicked on the TV last night as I crawled into bed, and one of those reality shows was on. This one was called The Ultimate Fighter. Not something I usually would watch, but where I came into this show, caught my attention. Here are two highly trained Mixed Martial Arts fighters. This is what they have dedicated their lives to as a career. Climbing into a ring and using their training to basically beat their competition into submission.</p>
<p>In a 2 round match, the judges had called a Draw for these obviously, equally matched contenders. They ordered a third round, to make a decision on a winner. Though equally matched, and each had won a round, when the third round was called one of the contenders simply GAVE UP!!!</p>
<p>He simply said he had enough, and refused to get up out of his corner!!! Of course the other man then won by default.</p>
<p>Here was a man who trained every day for this opportunity. The opportunity to prove that he was the best. The opportunity to prove that he had what it takes to succeed in his chosen profession. Yet all it took was a couple of good shots to the chin to leave him broken, and shaken, setting in a corner, giving up on his dreams.</p>
<p>You think his Coach maybe needed to spend a little more time with this guy on the MENTAL aspect of the game?</p>
<p>Do YOU spend time focusing on YOUR mental game plan? Is YOUR mental game leading you unknowingly down the path to failure in your Network Marketing Recruiting?</p>

<strong>Setting Attainable Goals</strong> is truly the only way to succeed. Let&#8217;s compare it to a football game. If you focus on the end of the game you are going to lose before you even have the kick off. You have to take it play by play, yard by yard, and quarter by quarter. Yes, the ultimate goal is to win the game, but you have to make realistic decisions in the meantime in order to reach the end.</p>
<p>Your first goal is to make a first down, then a second down, all the time planning simply for that next step that will get you close to that first touchdown. You&#8217;re going to suffer setbacks. You&#8217;re going to fumble the ball sometimes, and lose ground, so you re-focus on the goal of making up that ground&#8230;working the ball down the field. If you are playing the game correctly, and using the correct methods and strategies for the situation you finally accomplish a larger goal… you make a <strong>Touchdown!</strong> Great<strong>!!!</strong>&#8230;but it isn&#8217;t the end of the game.<span id="more-660"></span></p>
<p>You still have another 3 quarters to get through. More plans to be made and executed in order to just keep moving that ball a little further down the field. There is a play in football known as the &#8220;Hail Mary Pass&#8221; This refers to a very long pass, a long bomb, made in desperation with only a small chance of success. If you try to play the game only using &#8220;Hail Mary’s&#8221; as a strategy, you are almost certain to lose.</p>
<p><strong>How does this relate to your Network Marketing Business?</strong></p>
<p>Too many people out there are focused on the end goal. Making that final advancement to a Sr. Manager, or Director, or whatever your company happens to call its top-level associates. They are often unrealistic in thinking about the time that it will require to make it through each of the levels leading up to their coveted goal. Focus first on the level that you have to step through first. Let’s call it a Distributor.</p>
<p>As a Distributor, you must focus and strategize on the steps or “plays” that you will need to perform in order to be simply a &#8220;Successful&#8221; Distributor. That means finding and contacting prospects, and creating positive relationships with them on a consistent basis. Once you have Sponsored 2 or 3 into your Team, you can now consider yourself a &#8220;Successful&#8221; Distributor…But! You’re only on the second down. You have not made that first Touchdown yet. We’ll call that goal, a Manager.</p>
<p>So you must look at your current strategies. Go back to your &#8220;playbook&#8221; and review what has been effective up until now, and what has not. Then, you &#8220;run another play&#8221;. You continue to focus on simply repeating the successful strategies that have helped you to advance to this point, and Sponsorship, by Sponsorship, you work your way to that First Touchdown, and get that Manager’s Position.</p>
<p>From there it is &#8220;Rinse and Repeat&#8221;. Always keep those short goals in front of you.</p>
<p><strong>Have a Realistic time strategy as well.</strong></p>
<p>One last thing to consider is time. A football game has set time limits that must be adhered to for each portion of the game. In your business YOU must create those time limits. YOU must decide on what is a reasonable and realistic time frame to make your &#8220;plays&#8221; and get through each &#8220;quarter&#8221; of your game plan.</p>
<p>Focus tightly on the Short game, and follow through consistently. You will continue to make those touchdowns consistently as well. THAT is how you win the game through <strong><a href="http://simplesolutionsnow.info" target="_blank">Setting Attainable Goals</a></strong>.</p>

It was simply a way of doing business that rapidly declines with every advance in technology. The business world has become a blindingly fast paced environment, and showing simple Gratitude and Appreciation to customers and prospects is fast becoming a lost art.<br />
<span id="more-645"></span><br />
The act of appreciation marketing is not merely limited to the business world either. In the wholly impersonal and digitized realm of life on the Internet, gratitude and appreciation of others has been dumbed down. E-cards, and Blingee&#8217;s and a gamut of other impersonal, quick, cute, but without real heartfelt meaning, JUNK.</p>
<p>30 years ago, and more, the employees in the local bank knew your name. You could usually at least count on a Christmas card from them as well. If you purchased a new car, boat, or home, it was almost guaranteed that you were going to get a Thank You card from that salesperson, and more than likely, you received Holiday cards from these people as well. Even though it did not then have a name, they were practicing Appreciation Marketing.</p>
<p>When you received these personal cards, and personal notes, you ALWAYS remembered that person. They cared about you. Cared enough to take some time out of their busy day to send you something to simply say Hi, and that they had thought of you, and are willing to help you in any way that they can. They appreciated their customers and clients.</p>
<p>As the world became smaller, and the pace became faster, the personal touch began to fade. Marketers began to think that they had to BLAST as much out there, to as many eyes and ears possible, and the simple acts of personal notes and cards faded along with it. When that faded, guess what else faded? Our MEMORY of that person, and what they USED to do for us. It was replaced by an automatic switch in our heads that helps block out the endless monotone of impersonal marketing gibber. We tune it out.</p>
<p>The odd thing is, those old feelings that a personal note, or a heartfelt greeting card created never faded! They are still there! Admit it. When you open your mailbox, and find a personal letter, or a personal card from someone totally out of the blue, your day brightens just a bit. Suddenly you are no longer just a NUMBER, or a Sales Figure, or a Name in a list of 20,000 friends. You are suddenly a human being who another human being has reached out to, to simply say Hi, I was thinking of you, and I Appreciate you! Have a great day!</p>
<p>How much better would your business be, if you practiced this simple act daily? What effect do you think it would suddenly have in your referrals? How much better would your life in general be, by simply showing gratitude to others? How much better would the world be, if everyone practiced <a href="http://TheActOfGiving.info" target="_blank">Appreciation Marketing</a>?</p>

<p>As a child, you had Super Powers! Literally! A child can lie in the grass, look at the clouds, and see never-ending images of sailing ships, bunny rabbits, clown faces, and whatever their whimsy allows them. A child can look out at the new fallen snow in the morning, and immediately envision Snow Forts with Walls and Turrets, and bridges, and rooms, and, and, and… A child can look at a small boat on a small pond, and see Great Pirate Ships, sailing over a mighty and endless sea, battling for treasure. They can “BE” Soldiers, and Astronauts, and Doctors, and a Martian if they so desire!</p>
<p>The ability to simply look at an everyday object, yet literally SEE it as something else… something BIG&#8230; something Awesome&#8230; Something Powerful! Let there be no doubt THAT is a Super Power!</p>
<p>But somewhere along the way someone comes up with a big ol’ chunk of Kryptonite, and ruins Superman’s Super Powers. They make his Super Powers weak, and totally ineffective. They make him “Ordinary”.</p>
<p>This is what happens to OUR Super Powers as well. We get a little older, and begin listening to LIFE, instead of continuing to listen to Whimsy. Our powers of imagination weaken, and become ineffective, and everything becomes “ordinary”. WHY? What is wrong with Imagination?</p>
<p>Absolutely NOTHING!</p>
<p>As a matter of fact, if you have any ambition of making a living Online, then you had better be ready to dig deep back into that vault of Whimsy, and come up with a Pirates Treasure Chest full of Creativity and Imagination! You had better find yourself a lead-lined container to bottle that Kryptonite back up, so that YOUR Super Powers can re awaken!</p>
<p>Does this mean that you are to go out and run your business through Childlike fantasies? Of course not!<br />
But it does mean that you have to begin looking at your business, at your offer, at your products, whatever, and however it is that your business operates on, and find new innovative ways to market and promote that business.</p>
<p>There are literally Thousands upon Thousands of “new competition” entering the market place daily. If you do not stand out… If you do not stand above the crowd… If you do not find creative and visionary methods of promoting your business, you will simply be ordinary, and lost in the flood of ordinary that is surrounding you.<br />
You’ve got to research your competition, and find ways to do things either differently, or at the very least, more aggressively than the rest.</p>
<p>Again, thinking back to Childhood, children run HARD! They Play LOUDLY! They are exuberant, joyful, fun-loving, and above all they are PASSIONATE about their childhood thoughts and dreams!</p>
<p>These are the exact same characteristics that will propel you to success in business. Hard work, Joy, Love, and PASSION for what you are doing. Without it, the rainbows turn gray, the Unicorns turn back into Mules, and your business is simply another grain of sand on the beach.</p>
