To this day, it amazes me how many Marketers out there suffer from Phone Fear! I mean, c’mon! We are in an industry geared to Communication Skills, Attraction Marketing principles, and Personal Branding.
Are YOU the Marketer to follow, if you cannot pick up the phone, and have a simple one on one conversation with a prospective client or partner? Probably not so much…
Pick Up That Phone and Call!
I have MANY online friends who also happen to be Marketers. I can pick up the phone, and chat with them about Marketing, Family, the Kids, and Life in General, for an hour at a shot. They are all excellent communicators. Each one is lively, fun, and always offering up golden nuggets, that simply amp up my thirst for more. Yet, if you bring up the subject of “having to CALL prospects” it is surprising how many excuses begin to hit the fan

Folks, THIS is also, exactly what your communications with your clients, and prospective partners should be as well. I’m not suggesting that you go out and audition for “The Last Comic Standing” in your contact call. What I am suggesting is that you be your true self!
