Coming in at # 3 for the Must Haves for Internet Marketing is a RELIABLE Autoresponder. (#1 Domain Name, #2 Website or blog). Note the emphasis on RELIABLE.

Your autoresponder is the backbone of your business. It is typically where you have your first meet and greet with your prospect, or customer. It is your daily, weekly, monthly, communication pipeline to your marketing list.

Your autoresponder is basically your “Guy/Girl Friday“. You set it up with a series of tasks to perform, hit the button to make it Go, and go on about your business. Your autoresponder has it all in control.

Your Personal Assistant

Or Does It?…

There are those who opt to use “server based” autoresponder programs. The huge problem with this is your vulnerability to SPAM complaints. Typically these types of responders have no standardized Opt In requirements. When it comes to SPAM protection there are certain rules and guidelines that must be followed, or you are liable to have your ISP shut your site down and ban you.

If that happens, how much have you saved by using this “cut rate” method? How much have you LOST is the better question.
******************************************************************************

Here is a typical “problem” with Server/ Software based autoresponders:

“Hi

I’m running a website selling an xxxxx for xxxxxxxxxxxxxx. I got someone to do the web development for me.

I have an autoresponder (custom-written) that worked fine in the beginning but lately, I think it has a very high delivery failure rate, with most error messages like ‘unrouteable domain error’.

Is there a problem with the script or is it because the server I’m using to send out the autoresponder mails are not the same as the address I’m using as the sender’s? Please take a look at my site and let me know: www.xxx111222xxx.net I’m willing to pay a reasonable fee to get this problem fixed.”
********************************************************************************

Ok, you are an Internet Marketer. You have at least 30 different things you want to get accomplished every day. Do you REALLY want to be piddleing around like this person? Is this person making any MONEY having to worry about this sort of JUNK everyday? Of course not!
********************************************************************************

Here is another great example of why you should stay away from the “New Kid On The Block” Autoresponder:

“This problem is driving me up a tree. It’s actually worse than before, because in addition to complete failures, some clients report that old, previously deleted autoresponses are sent.

I am at my wits end on this.”
********************************************************************************

Who in their right mind wants to deal with these hassles? Reliability is key here. In Internet Marketing you need dependable tools. Software based, and “Uncle BillyBobs Bargain Basement Autoresponders” are not going to do the job. Every minute that you lose to worrying about the portion of your system that is Supposed to be Automated, basically accounts for lost revenue.

Stick to a “brand name” web based Autoresponder.

Here are a few quick tips on what tasks you can perform with your RELIABLE Autoresponder, that is going to set you ahead of your competition:

1. Send email newsletters to your opt-in subscribers.
Know what you’re going to send in your next few issues? Create and schedule them all in one
sitting – then automatically send each one at the date and time you tell it to.

2. Want to grow your list? Turn people coming to your website into subscribers!
Publish a signup form to your site.

3. Build relationships with your subscribers the moment they sign up.
Autoresponders can welcome new subscribers, educate them about your products, and drive
them back to your website. You can reach subscribers during the days and times you know
work best for them! (Worldwide)

4. Set up different lists for your prospects and customers. Even for different websites.

And the list goes on. Your imagination is really the only use limiter. Entering into a business is an excitement filled, sometimes “reactionary” event. Choose your “business assistant” wisely. This assistant is in charge of your communications. If it fails at ANY point, then your business suffers, and can possibly even fail as a result.

Looking for reliability and “I Got Your Back” service? Then you need to take a look at this resource. It will put money in your pocket and never let you down.

Busy Business Owner

Busy Business Owner

Do you think like an Employee or a Business Owner? There is a significant difference here. Everyday new people venture into Network Marketing. Many are trying to replace a lost income, or are simply trying to find an avenue to escape their 9 to 5 existence.

Most of these people have never been Business Owners in their lives. They have always been Employees. For the majority of Employees, there is one fundamental thing they all have in common. They are a “piece” of the System that makes up the company that they work for. Being a piece of an in place operating system brings along with it several pitfalls of mindset.

As an Employee, your company tells you what time you must be at work. How long your lunch break is. How many vacation days you can have. What holidays you will have off. And the biggest kicker, How much money you can make. An Employee has set guidelines, procedures, and methods typically pre-determined by the company. Remove that person, and replace them with another, with similar knowledge, and the System barely notices the change.

The Business Owner on the other hand, is the one responsible for creating, testing, and implementing these various guidelines, procedures, and methods, so that the company is highly competitive in the marketplace, and runs with peak efficiency. They are the person who must make the crucial Daily, Hourly, Minute to Minute, crucial business decisions.

As a Business Owner, you must have the ability to set your own work schedule, and adhere to that schedule consistently. You don’t have a time clock to punch. You must rely on your own motivation, your own dedication, your own determination, to set and adhere to your own working hours. There is not going to be anyone to monitor you, and to give you a warning when you are late, of when you have laid out of work for the day. Your schedule is yours, and what time you spend effectively, and what time you waste will be entirely your decision.

The Business Owner must also be the one to implement the System in their business. They must rely on themselves to monitor everything for its effectiveness, or its lack of effectiveness. This works, I’ll keep that. This doesn’t work, I’ll scrap that. This kinda works, but I need to improve on it. The Business Owner has to rely on themselves to continually find fresh, creative ways to maintain that flow of eager customers to their doorstep.

Take a look at McDonalds. Do you think that Ray Kroc created and sold thousands of franchises by putting on his apron and cooking up burgers and fries all day? Of course not. Ray succeeded because he was the man with the vision and the plan. He was the one consistently studying, and refining the processes and methods of his system, until he refined it to a point where a handful of High School kids can run each Franchise for the franchise owner.

So, you must ask yourself, “Am I thinking like an Employee, or Am I Thinking Like a Business Owner?” Do I have the ability to “turn off” that employee mentality that says “Lead Me, Lead Me” and “turn on” the business owner’s mindset, that says “Come Follow Me”. There is a lot of new responsibilities required of those that choose the route of Business Owner, and Leader. Take a good look at the way you think about your business and your decisions in it. You can’t afford to fall back into the “follower” position, once you claim the role of leader.

Do You Have a Vision Board?

What is a Vision Board? A Vision board is powerful tool to be used along with the law of attraction.

The law of attraction says if you are maintaining focus on what what you desire, things will begin to fall into place for you that will allow you to achieve those dreams/ goals.

It is very important when creating a vision board that you not only create it, but use it daily. This will help you to maintain focus on what it is you want to have/be or do in your life and in your world.

To create a Vision Board, you must ask yourself some hard questions first. Many times I see people entering into this business of Online Marketing, and they have no real, “solid”, “tangible” end goals in sight. If you ask them, “Why do you want an Online Business, the response is: To make money.

When pressed harder; Why do you want to make more money, you get the generic response, “I want Freedom”. Ok, so what is “Freedom” to YOU?

Then you FINALLY get the down to earth, nitty gritty answer: Freedom to me is …………………………….. Insert your answer here. Here, finally we have put a name and a face to the desire that drives our passion.

Now, go and find pictures, and words, and textures, and whatever other visual, mental and physical stimulus that you can lay your hands on, that represents what you are ultimately trying to achieve. All of it! Every single aspect of the WHY’S!!!

Here is an example. This is MY Vision Board:

Steve's Vision Board

Steve's Vision Board

Take these photos, and objects and paste them onto a large poster-board. Now, keep your “artwork” of focused goals, desires, and ambitions in front of you at all times. It should be the focal point of your daily workspace.

This way, you can maintain the focus on what you intend to achieve by the actions you take on that day, and every day.

You don’t want to just look at the pictures on your vision board, you want to take a minute and FEEL IT. Yes, feel, actually experience in your mind as if those pictures on your vision board were actually part of your life right this second.

If you want to be thin, think about that. Feel what it would feel like to be your ideal size. How would you feel walking and moving through the world, how would you hold yourself? All of this FEELING is what makes a vision board work.

If you have not yet created one, I highly reccomend that you do so today. Focused goals are achieved. Unfocused thoughts and whims, go by the wayside and are lost.
