Review Of MaxBlogPress

Hi again folks, I hope you had an exceptionally profitable week.

Today I want to relate to you my experience with an online company called MaxBlogPress.com

“Who in the heck is that?”

If you look in the upper left corner of this screen, you will find what is typically called an “Opt In” box.
That little box, is my MaxBlogPress Opt In Form Adder application. This is not the only Wordpress plug in that MaxBlogPress has. Their website has several very useful Wordpress applications to download and use.

The Opt In Form Adder is a very easy, and FREE tool to place on your Wordpress Blog. It helps me to stay connected with all of you who follow my blog posts.

About a week ago, I decided to make a change in the text on my Opt In Form Adder. (In case you did not notice, it now mentions a “Free Bonus” for signing up.)
Well, try as I might, I simply could not get the text to change. I would change it in my Wordpress Dashboard, but when I checked the actual site, the wording had not changed.

I tried unsuccessfully 3 or 4 times to change it. At this point, I went looking for help. MaxBlogPress has some great Forum support. I logged into the Forum, and did a search for similar problems. I came up empty. Seems no one else had experienced this particular problem. So I decided to put up a new forum post, describing the problem in hopes that I could find my answer.

The MaxBlogPress, forum administrator contacted me in less than 24 hours. His name is Suman Maharjan. His sole purpose was to help me to correct my problem. I explained in detail what I was doing. He made a few suggestions, but I had already tried them.

I emailed the HTML code from my site to review. After that Suman was still stumped. I gave him access to my blog so he could look at the set up of the application. It did not take him long to find the problem. My blog had a serious case of DAO. Dumb A$$ Operator!!!!.

Stupid me was trying to enter my text change information in the wrong place. Man did I feel silly. Suman changed my text for me while he was in there, and life is grand. So I went and sat in the corner with the Dunce Cap on my head for awhile.

The point to all of this, is Fantastic Customer Service. That was what I received from Suman, and from MaxBlogPress. Here I am, downloading and using a FREE application, and this man jumps in to fix whatever problem I have. Even when the problem is ME!!
This is a great example of how to not only treat your customers, but how you should treat everyone in general. Go out of your way to help others. As the movie says “Pay It Forward” It will come back to you in the end.

Just like this post. I want everyone to check out MaxBlogPress.com and at least look at what Suman has there, and see if your blog wouldn’t benefit from some of these great applications. Go check them out. You’ll be glad you did.

What Do You Buy On Payday?

Hi All !!!

I hope you are having a prosperous week!

I just recieved an email from one of the programs I am connected with, (YourMarketingJournal.com). A program offered in part By Terry Telford from TheBusinessProfessional.com

I wanted to share just an excerpt of that email:

“I just watched a video from multimillionaire, Tim
Sales that revealed what the rich, middle class, and
poor buy on payday.

Let’s start off at the bottom of the ladder and work
our way up.

The Poor – On payday, the poor buy stuff. They buy
knick-knacks. They go to flea markets, garage sales
and dollar stores and stock up on cheap stuff. The
walls in their homes are filled with stuff. Their
tabletops are filled with stuff, and their drawers are
packed with stuff. They justify all this stuff by
saying, “It was so cheap, I just had to buy it.”

The Middle Class – The middle class buy liabilities.
Liabilities are things that cost you money. They bring
home a nice paycheck each month, but then buy things
like cars, fancy houses, boats and airplanes. All
these liabilities cost money every month. No matter
how much money they make, they spend a bulk of it on
liabilities.

The Rich – The rich buy assets. Assets are things that
make you money. They buy rental properties, investments
and businesses. They buy assets that produce cash so
they can buy more assets that produce more cash and
the cycle continues on indefinitely.”

This made me set back and think about where I am now, and where I came from. My how things have changed. From living paycheck to paycheck, living in either rental houses, or Mobile Homes, buying and driving 6 to 10 year old cars for transportation, and having Hamburger Helper as a “regular” item on the evening meal plan.

Those days are far behind me now. I am not “rich” (yet, LOL), but I have a nice house in the country that I own, and lots of “toys” in the yard. I guess I would say that I am currently at that Middle Class status right now. Working my way everyday, towards that upper rung. The rich classification.

To this day though, I find myself occasionally slipping back into that “Poor” mentality. I get uptight when dollars are tight. I “stress” about it.

The point that I want to make about all of this, is that it does require a change of mindset to achieve each level of success. If you live, think and act poor, You are going to be POOR!! If you continue to work, earn then spend, spend, spend, you will have lots of “toys” but will never get further than that.

However, if you “DECIDE” that you are going to be “Prosporous” then Prosperity will ultimately be yours. If you decide to stop all the spending, and instead, reinvest those funds into things that will in return, increase your income, increase your profits, that is when true success will find you.

Those are the things that I have set my focus on now. How about you? What is your mindset? One of “Poor Me!” or one of “What?, Me Worry?” I hope that you are like me, and are learning to refocus your mindset, and reach for the Brass Ring. It is there for the taking. It all depends on how bad you want it.

Hi everyone!

I hope you have had an empowered week this week.

So far we have covered

• 1) Purchasing a Domain Name
• 2) Signing up with a Web Host
• 3) Setting up Wordpress
• 4) Installing a Theme on Wordpress
• 5) Autoresponders

Today, we’re going to wrap this up with Steps 6 and 7

• 6) Start Blogging
• 7) Submitting It To The World

Now that all the technical stuff is behind you, it’s time to start having some fun. Time for Step 6. Time to start blogging. Time to get your message out to the world.

“ Alright!! I got this for sale, and that for sale, and you might want to join this
Program, and Oh yeah, I flea dipped my cat today as soon as I got back from
Carpooling the Kids to School”

Whoa, Whoa, Whoa!!! Nobody wants to hear all that!!! Nobody wants pushy sales shoved in their faces, and this is supposed to be about business, so leave the daily family life stories for your personal blog. What you want here is good, quality, interesting CONTENT. You want something that is going to catch peoples interest, and make them want to read on, and come back for more over and over again.

Where to get this Content? Tons of places. You just went through this step by step process setting up your own blog, right? Well, there is something to write about. Write your own personal experience doing this. It will help someone else, and they will come back for more.

Use articles and blogs that others have written. A word of warning here!!! IF YOU USE CONTENT WRITTEN BY OTHERS, LET THAT PERSON KNOW ABOUT IT, GIVE THEM CREDIT FOR IT IN THE POST, AND LINK THE POST BACK TO THEIR SITE!!! If you simply cut and paste someone else’s writing, and do not do what was just written, you are guilty of Plagiarism, and possible copyright infringement. Nobody wants a lawsuit on their hands, do they?

Now, there is nothing wrong with reading someone else’s article, and then writing an article based on the same topic. As long as it is in your own words. You may put a different spin on it, or, you may simply be a better writer, and able to convey the message better. One great place to read articles to get ideas, and even to use if done as above, is EzineArticles.com. I’ve recently begun writing my own articles and submitting them there. Type in my name, and they will come up.

Another great topic is Reviews. Did you attend a Webinar recently? Right a review on it and let your peers know what you found out, and what your thoughts are on it. Did you just start using a new service of some sort, or a new marketing tool? Write a review on it. This is the kind of good quality content that people are looking for. If you offer this kind of information, on a regular basis, people will sign up to receive your updates, and then guess what?? You just started building a LIST !!! And that my friend is the Holy Grail of Internet Marketing. The all important, lifeblood of your business, LIST.

We’ll leave that for another whole topic of discussion. Now let’s get on to the Final Step. Step 7. Getting your blog out thereto the world, and getting NOTICED. Just because you created this great blog, and are writing all sorts of great and interesting things on it, doesn’t mean that anybody knows about it. There are millions of blogs out there. How many of them do you personally know about? How did you find out about them? Sometimes, you found them by doing a search on something, and it came up in the search results. Those are called Organic Search Hits, and you want them!!!

They are not that easy to get though. They take time, and they take effort. For now, I will simply tell you that as a first step, click on this Google link, and it will take you to Google Webmaster Tools. Sign Up, Sign In, and follow the instructions. This will help you to get your site indexed on Google as quickly as can be expected. Like I said, It takes time and effort, but if you follow Google’s guidelines and recommendations, their search engine will start to like your site, and start showing it in those Organic Searches.

And the next place to send it out to? Social Networking sites. Send a Tweet to your Twitter followers that you’ve updated your blog. Don’t be pushy, just offer it for their information. Write it on The Wall in Facebook so that your community friends know about it. The same with MySpace. Put a note on the Bulletin Board about your update.

The bottom line is to get it out there in front of people so that they know it is there. Never push, never holler, never blast it repeatedly, simply offer it up, and those that are interested will check it out. If they are not, well you aren’t going to be able to convert everyone. Just the facts of life. Live it and move on.

I really hope that this series has given you some good information on how to take those first confusing steps towards Internet Marketing. Please feel free to contact me, or simply leave a comment on the post. I love hearing from all of you.

< Webinar 9 PM EST Tonight > Can you tackle the YouTube beast? The “YouTube Slap” Revealed…

OK Folks,

I usually do not do 2 back to back posts, but this just came to me, and I thought it Mucho important to get out to everyone.

The YouTube beast is on a rampage.

They are shutting down hundreds of YouTube channels
without warning, without reason, and there is no sign that
they will slow down either!

So I have a question…

Are you using YouTube as part of your marketing arsenal?

YOU SHOULD BE! Millions of people are on YouTube
every single day searching for information and value and
you can make a fortune on YouTube alone…

But you’ve got to be careful… VERY careful when you’re on
YouTube’s playground.

Tonight I’m going to reveal to you a little bag of tricks that
should allow you to stay on YouTube for the long-haul.

Trust me, you do NOT want to put your blood, sweat, tears, and years
into building a YouTube channel and then one day try and log-in
and BAM!

“YOUR ACCOUNT HAS BEEN PERMANENTLY DISABLED”

And YouTube doesn’t have a phone number to contact…

YouTube doesn’t care about YOU. YouTube’s $10.00 / hr employees
are on the hunt to shut down anything and everything that looks at
all suspicious and if you send them an email requesting a reason
as to why you got shut down, they’ll just send you a cookie-cutter
email response and that will be the end of it.

Tonight will change the way you play the game on YouTube…

Space is limited.
