Safelist Marketing: Why This FREE Resource Makes $$$’s!
Ever since the first Safelist hit the Internet, systems, techniques and strategies have continued to evolve. However there is one simple truth that will remain as long as Safelists are active online.
The truth? The key to your success as an e-mail marketer is communication. If you cannot connect with your target market then your business will suffer.
Getting results through safelists is not as difficult as it may seem. Those who struggle to get great results often blame the resource. I hear it all the time, “Oh There is TOO much competition there”, “No one ever reads the ad”, “ It’s a big waste of time”. Guess what? Those people are wrong! The numbers are there to support a great response. That puts the burden of results solely on the user. Remember the old adage, that “It’s a poor craftsman who blames his tools.” The same holds true here as well.
Every time I log onto a safe list account, I’m amazed at how many people are missing out on this key technique. Thousands upon thousands of e-mails run through my Gmail account daily. The majority are deleted. HOWEVER…
Those who understand that Communication and Interest must take place KNOW HOW to create a subject line which will +~+~+~STAND OUT ~+~+~+ on a page loaded with fifty to one hundred subject lines. These are the marketers who are getting the ULTIMATE in results!
There are many things marketers do wrong when marketing to safelists, here are some of the more common mistakes…
-
=>Creating e-mail messages that try to sell the product or opportunity, instead of letting the website do it
=>Failure to utilize a marketing system to generate a personal mailing list
=>Use of excessive hype and/or tricks to attract readers to their subject line, versus offering incentive
=>And the list goes on and on.
Fortunately, the Right Way to do things list is very short, and commonsense.
As stated above, using e-mail to market and advertise online is all about connecting with your audience. You must offer value and give the reader a reason to keep coming back TO YOU for more. Most e-mail marketers act like used car salesmen in plaid polyester suits. This only causes people to run in the opposite direction. FAST!!
Successful Safelist marketers know how to attract their target market by creating incentives that offer tremendous value at no cost. That is the key to getting your sales letters opened by your potential client, customer or prospect.
From there, it is the job of your sales copy to sell that next crucial step, a click on the link in the sales letter. That is IT. Those are the ONLY 2 things your Headline and Sales copy should jointly achieve.
Using this strategy drives incredibly targeted traffic. Unfortunately, one more problem persists. Even if most people get steps one and two right, they miss a VITAL piece of the puzzle and that is where the BIG MONEY is lost.
The traffic generated through your Safelist copy should always be directed at a capture page. If it’s not, you’re losing money. That’s the plain and simple truth. It’s an unfortunate truth that causes most Internet Marketers to fail. Simply because they either have been taught the wrong way, or they are trying to take shortcuts out of desperation.
Having great results with Safelists is not difficult if you will exert the required effort. Using proper form takes very little time and the benefits of doing so are the REAL results you have been trying so hard to produce.
By simply using tried and true marketing principles as mentioned earlier, and by being creative, informative, and honest you can drive a flood of traffic into your marketing funnel with very little to no cost at all.
