Business Success Strategies 3: Internet Fantasyland…Is There a Yellow Brick Road?

I know that I don’t need to explain to you why the Internet is your best bet, in order for you to achieve your goals of financial freedom and prosperity. But, bear with me a few moments while I share a few thoughts on this…

You know that there are HUGE numbers of people turning to the Internet to provide them extra income. With today’s economy in the tank, this has become a virtual flood, as untold thousands have faced income cuts, and even job losses. Their government, and their brick and mortar day jobs have failed them. They are all looking for ways to survive, and to create their own destiny.

The future is here today! The Internet is now the New Business Marketplace. It generates Billions of dollars a year, and will soon grow to trillions. You are “finally” in the right place at the right time.

Let’s look at what it takes to create a successful “Brick and Mortar” business. You have to have a building or rented space to house it. This means a mortgage or rent, taxes, insurance, utilities, maintenance, employees, compensation plans… This is just the tip of the iceberg!

On top of that, you have to have most if not all of this in place BEFORE you can really even begin to do business. No wonder so many close their doors in the first 6 months. The overhead kills them quickly.

But the Internet… That’s a whole nother animal! With as little as $ 200 in start up capital, you can literally grow a million dollar business from your kitchen table. Once you learn the ropes and know what you are doing, you can basically write your own paycheck, and set it up to happen automatically. You truly do not have to be actively working in order to get paid. The “Make Money While You Sleep” thing is for real, ONCE YOU LEARN HOW!!!

You are continually bombarded with promises of overnight wealth, instant success, and turn key fully automated businesses. The truth of the matter is, people who have success on the Internet, get there by 1 of 2 methods.

The first method is the School Of Hard Knocks. You get started, waste tons of time and money, and then through shear determination, and trial & error, you hit on an actual working model that launches your fortune. (Unfortunately this was the path I traveled for over a year). You’ve got to have a HUGE desire to succeed to keep you going through the pain you find on this path.

The second path is the better route. Find someone who will take you by the hand and lead you through the maze. Someone who will tell you, and SHOW you exactly what to do. This should be someone you trust, and you simply take action by following their lead to success.

Find a Mentor who is willing to Teach and Educate. Hmmm… do you already know someone like that?… ;-D

Don’t fall into the Guru cesspool. Don’t fall for all of those testimonials. Do you truly realize how that stuff works? If it is not an out right fabrication, then at best, they take a couple of people and “Groom” them to success, by giving them inside access to all of their personal million dollar advertising programs and private marketing lists.

They never actually “teach” them anything. It’s all a dog and pony show, so that the Guru can say “See even a newbie can do this with my system.” Those are the sad facts of life sorry to say.

Then we’ve got all of these $ 47 and $ 97 Ebook Success systems. PAleeease!!! Most of this stuff is just total CRAP. Sorry to be blunt. 90% of this rubbish is generated by “for hire” freelance writers who get paid a couple hundred bucks each to crank out Ebook after Ebook. Then it gets marketed to you for 97 bucks a pop. Just walk away from this.
