I know, you’re thinking “Whoa! What’s This Crazy Guy Up To Here?” Don’t worry, I’m not suggesting or endorsing the threat of physical harm to your prospects! Money doesn’t spend too well in Jail, LOL.

The point that I want to get across is this, When you are “aiming” at your Target Audience with your promotion, you want to HIT that target with the same effect as a shotgun.

You want to simply pepper the heck out of that target. You don’t want to be laser aiming and firing off single shots from a rifle, over and over at the same target. You may be the greatest laser focused shot in the world, but in the end, you are only hitting a very small percentage of the overall target. You want to hit the WHOLE target!!! The middle, the edges, to the left, to the right, up and down. That is the difference. We’re NOT trying to hit the “Bulls-eye” a couple of times. We simply want to hit the overall target with one good covering shot. Our whole Target is the BULLS-EYE.

You will not get results by repeatedly sending out one or two ads over and over and over again. Especially if you are only “aiming” them at one point of submission. ( I see a LOT of people making this mistake with Social Media) Let’s look at Solo ads for instance You’ve got one ad, you send it out, and maybe you get a lead or two from it. So you try it again, same ad, same submission source. Ok, maybe you get a few more hits.

But what if you had 5 ads? And instead of simply sending all of them to just one submission source, you send all of them to 5 submission sources. Now you’ve just hit the target 25 times instead of once. Now instead of getting that 1 or 2 hits, you’ve gotten 25 or 50. What is that going to do for your business? How fast is that going to grow your list?

Writing your own ads, your own “Copy” is an essential skill in this business. It takes time to acquire it. It is an essential skill in the fact that you have to generate different messages in order to promote your business. Some will work better than others. You chunk the bad ones, and try to improve on the good ones. This is called split testing. Trying out different ads for the same resource to see which performs better.

The ideal places for using this method of marketing is Solo Ads/ Ezines, Classified Ads, Safelists, Banner Ad Exchanges, Traffic Exchanges, to name a few.

Places where this is NOT going to work are Social Media sites. Folks on the Social sites view this as SPAM, and will simply delete you from their circle very quickly.

So get out there, Grab Your Shotgun, and start peppering your Target with ads. And until next time…
